Sporting Lisbon have reportedly set a valuation of €70-75 million for the potential transfer of Viktor Gyokeres during the next summer window.
According to SPORT, the Portuguese club is prepared for the Swedish striker’s departure after the season ends.
In fact, it is said that a verbal agreement between Gyokeres and Sporting seems to confirm this price range, with the club aiming for a structured and smooth transfer process.
Several European giants, including Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona, have shown interest in acquiring Gyokeres.
His exceptional performances this season have made him one of the most sought-after forwards in European football.
While Manchester United were particularly eager to secure him in the winter transfer window, Gyokeres decided to stay at Sporting, honouring the verbal agreement he had with the club, as he has reservations about Manchester United’s project.

Even with Ruben Amorim’s appointment as manager and their strong connection, the striker seems cautious about joining the Premier League side, prioritising his long-term career stability.
As a result, he may consider opportunities in other leagues before making a final decision.
Barcelona’s interest in Gyokeres became evident in November when Deco, the club’s sporting director, met with Sporting representatives to discuss potential transfers.
Deco’s strong ties with Sporting have previously facilitated discussions, including Barcelona’s efforts to secure Vitor Roque.
Additionally, Barcelona hold 50% of the resale rights for Francisco Trincao, which could play a pivotal role in reducing the financial demands for Gyokeres if he opts for a move to Spain.
At Barcelona, the prospect of signing a new striker has gained importance. While Robert Lewandowski has been reliable this season, concerns about his age and future consistency have arisen as he approaches 37.
Despite an automatic contract renewal clause triggered by his game appearances, Barcelona may still look for fresh options, making Gyokeres a potential candidate to lead their attack in the coming seasons.
