Ansu Fati has officially joined AS Monaco on loan from Barcelona, with an option for the French club to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old winger arrives at Monaco to revive his career, following a season heavily disrupted by injuries and limited minutes under Hansi Flick at Barcelona as he clocked just 298 minutes across 11 appearances.
Monaco can secure his services permanently for around €11million, and Barça will help bankroll the deal by covering half his wages during the loan period.
He’s Monaco’s third summer signing after Eric Dier and Paul Pogba, both joining on free transfers.
