Barcelona’s move for Premier League star labelled as ‘hot’ | OneFootball

La Liga champions Barcelona appear to be giving serious consideration to the summer signing of Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.

That’s according to Blaugrana insider Joan Fontes, who has on Thursday set tongues wagging across Catalunya’s capital.

Wide-man Rashford has of course been linked with a move to Barcelona for some time now.

After the Blaugrana took into consideration a January loan swoop for the 27-year-old, he has since returned to the radar of Deco and co. this summer.

As much comes with Barca on the lookout for reinforcements in the final third for the 2025/26 campaign.

Already this week, English transfer expert Ben Jacobs confirmed:

‘Barcelona are considering a loan move for Marcus Rashford, even though their number one priority is Nico Williams.’

And as alluded to above, if ensuing word stemming from Spain on Thursday is anything to go by, then talks appear to be trending in the right direction from a Blaugrana standpoint.

Reposting a previous post of his own on ‘X’, which confirmed that the Camp Nou hierarchy had ‘reactivated the Rashford option’, the aforementioned Joan Fontes added the caption:

‘Hot. Hot.’
