La Liga giants Barcelona have early this week tied up an agreement for their next summer signing. This comes amid confirmation of Club Brugge talent Jesse Bisiwu preparing to take his talents to Catalunya’s capital.

The name of young winger Bisiwu has of course long emerged as a prominent one in the media chatter surrounding Barcelona.

Widely considered one of the standout talents in Belgian football, the 18-year-old piqued the interest of those behind the scenes at the Spotify Camp Nou this past season.

Deco and co, in turn, recently made the call to launch an all-out assault on Bisiwu’s signature. And as alluded to above, this week, these efforts appear all set to bear fruit.

As per a report from transfer market insider Fabrizio Romano:

‘Barcelona seal the agreement to sign Jesse Bisiwu from Club Brugge, here we go! Clubs now exchanging documents for the 18-year-old winger to join Barça.’

The deal is expected to set the Blaugrana back a sum in the region of €8.5 million.
