Barcelona’s stance on Lucas Beraldo signing | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have long made a definitive call on the potential January signing of Paris Saint-Germain star Lucas Beraldo.

This comes amid confirmation that the Blaugrana have no intention of pursuing a deal for the Brazilian.

The name of Beraldo had emerged as an increasingly prominent one in the transfer chatter surrounding Barcelona over recent weeks.

As much came amid suggestions that Deco and co. were considering a proposal to bring the 22-year-old to Catalunya’s capital on loan for the 2nd half of the term.

The Camp Nou brass are of course on the lookout for reinforcements at the back, following the long-term injury suffered by Andreas Christensen.

If the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, however, then Beraldo will not be the man brought in.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘In the search for a centre-back in the winter market (if he is left-footed, even better), Barça have not considered at any time asking PSG for the loan of Lucas Beraldo, despite the good personal relationship between their top executives in the football area.’
