Aston Villa will welcome Tottenham Hotspur at Villa Park on Sunday as they look to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Villans suffered a tough 1-0 loss away at Nottingham Forest recently, so they would fancy their chances of securing a good result in midweek.
Unai Emery will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make one tweak to his first team for this game. Ross Barkley could get the nod to play from the start of this contest, while Douglas Luiz settles for a spot on the bench.
Emiliano Martinez will function in goal for the West Midlands club after he conceded one goal in his last outing. Ezri Konsa will play alongside Pau Torres at the centre of the Aston Villa backline as they focus on keeping things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Matty Cash will try to impress as the right-back, while Lucas Digne looks to put in a solid performance on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Tyrone Mings, Ian Maatsen and Victor Lindelof will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Amadou Onana and Youri Tielemans will operate as the holding midfielders as they focus on establish their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Emi Buendia, Morgan Rogers and John McGinn will play just ahead of them as part of Emery’s attack. All three of them will have to be at their best if the Villans are to create enough chances to win this clash.
Douglas Luiz and Jadon Sancho will be named on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Ollie Watkins will lead the line for the Merseyside club up top. He has to find a way to cause a lot of problems for the Tottenham centre-backs this weekend.
Tammy Abraham will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if the Villans are in need of a goal by then.
