Bayern Munich join Manchester United and Arsenal in transfer battle for £100m star | OneFootball

Bayern Munich have joined Manchester United and Arsenal in the transfer race for Morgan Rogers, per the Mirror. 

The Aston Villa star has emerged as one of the most sought-after players in the upcoming transfer window. 

Rogers has been earning rave reviews with his performances since joining Villa in February 2024 for a fee worth £15 million. 

He has scored 27 goals and provided 24 assists in 115 appearances across all competitions. 

This season, Rogers has started all 31 Premier League matches, helping Villa to climb to fourth place in the league standings.  

His performances have alerted several major clubs, including United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

The four European heavyweights are all monitoring the 23-year-old and could launch a bid for him this summer.  

Bayern have also joined the transfer race for the attacking midfielder, who could cost a fee close to £100m when add-ons are factored in. 

The Bavarians believe they could offer him the chance to continue his upward trajectory overseas as part of their swashbuckling team.

Rogers can operate as a number ten or as a wide attacker on the left flank. He is highly rated for his pace, dribbling, and physical strength.  

Villa are not actively looking to sell Rogers, who is contracted with the club until 2031. 

But a big offer could force them to consider their options, as they look to raise funds for new signings next summer.
