Vincent Kompany will be forced into one change when his Bayern Munich side travel to Sinsheim to face Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon.

Josip Stanišić suffered a partial rupture of the medial ligament in his right knee during Wednesday’s Champions League opening win over Chelsea and is sidelined for the foreseeable future, meaning that Sacha Boey is expected to start with Konrad Laimer switching to left-back.

With Raphael Guerreiro, Alphonso Davies, Hiroki Ito and Jamal Musiala all sidelined, there’s little movement for Kompany to rotate his squad on Saturday.

Kim Min-jae remains the only other defensive option for Kompany, with the bench expected to be made of up midfielders Tom Bischof and Leon Goretzka, wingers Lennart Karl and Wisdom Mike, with Nicolas Jackson an attacking option.
