Kicker reports that Bayern Munich will not make a move for Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani in the summer.
The Kosovo striker got the assist for Hoffenheim’s goal in their 5-1 loss to the league leaders on Sunday, and has been linked with a departure in the summer due to a release clause that is said to be worth around €30m.
Vincent Kompany’s side are said to appreciate the footballing ability of Asllani; however, they see the striker as too slow to become an option for them in the summer. Add to this the presence of Harry Kane in attack and the extension of Serge Gnabry, the Rekordmeister will need an injection of speed into their attack.
Despite Bayern not showing interest in Asllani, the 23-year-old is still likely to leave Sinsheim in the summer.
In recent weeks, Bayern have been linked with both Said El Mala and Yan Diomande. Both would bring more speed to their attack. However, El Mala is still unproven at the highest level, while Diomande will likely cost around €100m.
