Bayern Munich want to sign Senegalese attacking midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye (18) on a permanent basis, according to Abendzeitung.

Ndiaye joined Germany’s record champions on loan from Gambinos Stars Africa in January 2026, as part of Bayern’s Red&Gold Football venture with Los Angeles FC which aids international talent development.

As a result, Ndiaye spent time on trial in Munich before a spell at Grasshoppers Zurich in the summer, which included a friendly against Vincent Kompany’s side, before returning to Munich in January.

After recovering from injury, the Ndiaye made his Bundesliga debut on Matchday 29, replacing Jamal Musiala in Bayern’s record-breaking victory over St. Pauli.

Now, die Reckordmeister are open to signing the Senegalese midfielder on a permanent basis. In order to get sufficient playing time, AZ further report that a loan spell could be a potential option for the youngster, who earned praise from Vincent Kompany.

“We’re excited about his personality,” the Belgian said. “He’s shown that he’s one of the talents we have in Bayern’s youth academy. Things are going well for him.”
