On the recovery process, Musiala said:

“I think you learn a lot of things when you’re injured. For example, I see how much fun I usually have and how much I love football. And you have time to calmly see what you can do better. On the pitch, you don’t have that time to think about everything. And of course I want to come back even better I’ve been with my family almost all the time since my injury. They’ve helped me a lot – also to switch off from everything a little bit.”

Musiala and his comeback:

The 22-year-old continues to work on his comeback, and it has previously been reported that he could be available for the Bayern first team before the winter break at the end of the year.

On the motivation for his comeback, the Bayern attacking midfielder commented:

“You can see how well we’re playing at the moment, how much fun they’re all having. I want to be part of that and be back on the pitch – also with Phonzy. We want to have fun after our injuries and make sure we win a lot as a team”

What has helped Musiala during the recovery process is that a close friend, Alphonso Davies, has also been working on his comeback following an ACL tear while on international duty with Canada. The left-back is now working on his fitness and could return as early as November.
