Bayern Munich’s Kim Min-jae (29) has received several approaches for a January move but the South Korean defender intends to stay at the Allianz Arena, according to Sky Germany.
The 29-year-old has received an offer from former club Fenerbahçe, while several Italian clubs are also monitoring the player’s situation, but Kim is rejecting all approaches.
Having joined Bayern from Napoli for €50m in July 2023, Kim has been a bit-part player for Vincent Kompany this season, starting six of his nine Bundesliga appearances. Despite this, he wants to remain at the club until at least the end of the season.
The Belgian’s preferred defensive pairing appears to be Dayot Upamecano and Jonathan Tah, but with Hiroki Itō and Alphonso Davies also returning, Kim – who had interest from Liverpool and Milan in the summer – may see his Bundesliga minutes diminish even further.
Kim’s current deal at Bayern expires in 2028.
