Benfica are exploring the French market to strengthen their women’s team, with Marseille left-back Roselène Khezami under consideration as her contract expires. According to Glorioso 1904, the out-of-contract status makes the move particularly attractive.
The 24-year-old defender is viewed as a market option being evaluated as the club weighs additions for next season following notable departures.
Khezami was developed in France and has played for Saint-Denis, Saint-Malo and Orléans before returning to Marseille. She has largely operated at left-back, earning a reputation for reliability and defensive strength.
Internationally, she represents Algeria and has won five caps. Her record includes appearances at the finals of African competitions, among them the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Khezami featured regularly for Marseille in the 2025/26 campaign, making 14 competitive appearances, 12 in D1 Féminine and two in the Coupe de France. She did not register a goal or an assist, but was used consistently on the flank.
