Benfica will visit Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday with no away allocation after a UEFA sanction.

According to Glorioso 1904, the punishment follows incidents in Amsterdam during the match against Ajax, when Benfica supporters again used pyrotechnics. Given the recurrence, UEFA has barred ticket sales to the Lisbon club’s fans for Turin, sidelining about 2,000 who would normally attend.

Juventus have sold out the tie and, with the ban in place, the visitors’ section has been opened to home supporters.

The decision is a setback for Benfica, whose travelling support is often sizeable and influential on European nights.

Kick-off is at 20:00 on Wednesday, 21 January 2026 at the Juventus Stadium in Turin, on matchday seven of the 2025/26 league phase. The game will be televised on SportTV 5.
