Benfica sign Felipe Lima on loan from Alverca with option to buy | OneFootball

Benfica have confirmed the loan signing of Brazilian forward Felipe Lima from Alverca, a deal running until the end of 2026/27 with an option to buy.

A BOLA reports that the clause is set at €1.5 million for 70 percent of his economic rights. The young striker is expected to begin with Benfica B, coached by Nélson Veríssimo.

Last season he split his time between Alverca’s first team and their B side. In the Campeonato de Portugal he scored 14 goals in 23 games for the latter, and he also made six Primeira Liga appearances.

The transfer also reflects the strong institutional ties between Benfica and Alverca, a relationship that has eased negotiations in recent years.

Lima is thrilled with the opportunity, seeing it as a reward for last season’s work. He described joining Benfica, which he regards as the country’s biggest club, as an indescribable feeling.
