According to Coluna Do Fla, Benfica are in advanced talks to sign Fulham defender Jorge Cuenca for €15 million, acquiring 90% of his economic rights, as they prepare to face Flamengo on 11 July in the Algarve, Portugal.
If finalised in time, Cuenca could be available for the Flamengo friendly.

The centre-back aims to agree terms, undergo a medical and report for pre-season, seeking to build understanding with the Portuguese side.
Cuenca came through Barcelona's academy, then had spells with Villarreal, Almería and Getafe before joining Fulham in 2024. He has yet to establish himself in the Premier League.
Both clubs are active in the market as they ready their squads for the Algarve meeting.
