Benfica welcome three reinforcements as Jhon Durán awaits St. Gallen registration | OneFootball

Benfica were boosted by Jhon Durán, Amar Dedic and Tomás Araújo at their latest training session, with Durán taking part for the first time. He is not yet registered to face St. Gallen in the Europa League second qualifying round.

According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica have lodged an initial list of 22 players with UEFA, and may add two more by 23:59 on Wednesday, the eve of the first match. That keeps open the possibility of the Colombian forward being called.

Dedic and Araújo also trained after returning from the World Cup, where they represented Bosnia and Herzegovina and Portugal respectively. Both are already registered for European competition.

Durán received the customary welcome for new arrivals and has begun working with his team-mates. He is aiming to build sharpness quickly as preparations continue.

With the group edging towards full strength, Marco Silva now has extra options for the upcoming fixtures.
