Benfica will face Slavia Prague in Champions League qualifying if they finish second, according to Glorioso 1904.

There is, however, a possibility the Portuguese runners-up could avoid that route if Aston Villa win the Europa League and also finish in the Premier League top four.

The scenario remains dependent on the final league table in Portugal, as well as the Europa League outcome.

Several European representatives are still to be confirmed, including from France, Belgium, Scotland, the Netherlands, Greece, Austria and Poland, where Lech Poznań have already secured at least second place.

Benfica are next in action on Saturday 16 May against Estoril in the 34th and final round of the Portuguese league. The match kicks off at 20h30 at Estádio António Coimbra da Mota, with the opposition coached by Ian Catho.
