Foot Mercato reports that Beşiktaş have reached an agreement with Marseille to sign defender Michael Amir Murillo, 29.

In the final hours of the January window, Marseille moved Murillo towards the exit. He was demoted to the reserves and invited to find a new club.

The invitation arrived so late that there was not enough time to complete a departure from the Vélodrome.

With some markets still open, an opportunity emerged. Murillo will be desperate for minutes before the FIFA World Cup, when he will represent Panama, as he did in 2018.

With the window in Türkiye closing on Friday, a move is under way. The reported fee is €6m, including bonuses.
