The proposal is understood to comprise €20m paid at the point of transfer, with add-ons tied to undisclosed objectives.

Benfica are thought to seek at least €30m, so the proximity of valuations means talks could progress.

If he does move to Türkiye, Pavlidis could become a league rival of Sidny Cabral, who has joined Trabzonspor.

Benfica are without next season’s Champions League revenue, so may be forced to cash in on some players below early asks. The striker’s €80m release clause may have limited bearing in negotiations.

In 2025/26 Pavlidis, 27 and valued at €28m, made 53 appearances for Benfica, 33 in Liga Portugal Betclic, 14 in the Champions League, three in the Taça de Portugal, two in the Taça da Liga and one in the Supertaça. He logged 4,244 minutes, scoring 30 goals and providing five assists.
