‘Best in the world’ – Real Madrid star paid the ultimate compliment during Spain’s Euro celebrations | OneFootball

A headline member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid was the recipient of the highest praise imaginable during Spain’s Euro 2024 title celebrations.

The player in question? Dani Carvajal.

Right-back Carvajal, for his part, is of course fresh off adding to his bulging silverware cabinet once more on Sunday night.

Afforded a starting berth in Spain’s European Championship finale showdown with England, the 32-year-old closed the matchup donning the nation’s captain’s armband, in an eventual 2-1 triumph.

As much comes fresh off another wonderful campaign for Carvajal at club level, too, which saw the experienced stopper notch a domestic and European double with Real Madrid, too.

In the thick of Spain’s title celebrations on Monday, it should therefore come as little surprise to hear of the country’s defensive standout being lavished in praise.

After taking hold of the microphone in Cibeles, in fact, Álvaro Morata paid Carvajal the ultimate compliment.

Calling his compatriot front and centre on the stage, frontman Morata announced:

“The pitbull… where is Musiala!? The best Right-back in the world [is here]… DANI CARVAJAL!”
