Beto latest on Atalanta’s list of potential Retegui replacements | OneFootball

Atalanta have to make a number of crucial signings in whatever remains of the summer transfer window. Last season’s top scorer in the Serie A, Mateo Retegui has left the club and headed to Al Qadsiya in Saudi Arabia. Star forward Ademola Lookman is also on the verge of leaving, most likely to rivals Inter. In order to replace Lookman, there seems to be a clear target, Diego Moreira of Strasbourg and negotiations are on for the same. For a new striker however, there are multiple options. Tolu Arokodare of Genk, Adam Daghim of RB Salzburg and Giacomo Raspadori have been quoted as options for quite some time now. As per TMW, a new name has entered the list, that of Beto from Everton. Even though, he is currently an important player at Everton, a move back to Italy could appeal to him. He has previously had a very fruitful stint in the Serie A, playing for Udinese.
