Bologna and Celta Vigo are soon set to submit official offers to Fenerbahce for Newcastle United and West Ham United target Jayden Oosterwolde.
The 24-year-old left-back was a hot topic last summer, with West Ham among his suitors and his agent admitting to us there was Premier League interest, but he decided to continue with Fenerbahce.
However, his season came to an early end, playing only eight games for them due to a ligament injury, but he is now recovered and preparing for next season.
Oosterwolde is once again attracting suitors and a move to the Premier League is on the cards as Newcastle and West Ham are lining up for his signature.
Newcastle are in the Champions League next season and are planning to add depth to their squad and the Fenerbahce star is on their list.
Now the Premier League outfits are facing competition from Serie A club Bologna and Spanish outfit Celta Vigo.
Oosterwolde has two more years left on his contract in Turkey and his suitors are keen on securing his signature.
According to Turkish outlet Fotomac (via A Spor), Celta Vigo and Bologna both are planning to approach Fenerbahce soon with official offers for Oosterwolde.
Jose Mourinho’s side might cash in on him if they receive a suitable offer and it remains to be seen whether recent developments will make West Ham and Newcastle put their foot on the gas in the pursuit of the left-back.
The Hammers have a longstanding interest in Oosterwolde and they have monitored his developments closely.
With Aaron Cresswell set to leave after the expiry of his contract at the end of June, Graham Potter will be left with only Emerson Palmieri and Oliver Scales in that position.
West Ham’s hierarchy understand that they will need to bring in a left-back this summer to beef up that department.
