Bristol City drew 2-2 with Wrexham at Ashton Gate on Tuesday night, with the result lifting Wrexham up to seventh in the Championship.

Oliver Rathbone fired Wrexham ahead in the 34th minute, drilling into the top left from the centre of the box.

After the restart, Arthur Okonkwo kept the lead intact with sharp saves from Tomi Horvat and Sinclair Armstrong (46.).

Gerhard Struber's triple change at the break paid off as Sinclair Armstrong rifled in from a tight angle after Horvat's pass (47.). Wrexham then regained the advantage when Joe Williams turned into his own net (76.).

Jason Knight created the late equaliser, laying off for Max Bird to thump home from outside the box (89.).

Seven minutes were added and The Robins forced late corners, but neither side found a winner.

City produced eight attempts, five on target. Wrexham registered nine, with three on target.

City visit Swansea next. Wrexham host Ipswich next.
