Alex Cochrane fired in a beauty from long range to give League One champs Birmingham a 1–0 win at Stevenage - and take them past the 100-point milestone.

The defender came off the bench and smashed one in from 25 yards, sealing Blues’ 31st league win of the season. That takes them up to 102 points and leaves them just shy of the all-time League One points record.

With three games still to go, they only need a draw to equal Wolves’ 103-point tally from the 2013/14 season.

One more win and they’ll set a new record for the most League One wins in a season, surpassing the 31 wins shared by Wolves (2013/14) and Plymouth (2022/23).

The Blues have now joined a pretty exclusive club too - teams in the top four leagues who've hit 100 points in a season since the turn of the century.
