Birmingham City host Bristol City in the Championship on Saturday, 25 April 2026 at St Andrew's, with both targeting a late push for the top half.

Birmingham have won two of their last three, beating Wrexham and Preston and drawing at Hull in between. City's recent run features wins at Charlton Athletic and against Sheffield United, plus draws at Queens Park Rangers and Southampton.

Birmingham are without Kyogo Furuhashi and Ibrahim Osman, while Lee Buchanan is also ruled out. The Robins miss midfielders Joseph Williams and Max Bird, with defenders Rob Atkinson and Luke McNally sidelined.

Birmingham average 54% possession and could look to use width, having scored 11 headers. City shoot more accurately at 48.79% and deliver better from wide areas with 20.80% cross accuracy. Marvin Ducksch and Jay Stansfield have 10 league goals each for the hosts, while Scott Twine leads the visitors with 11 and also has seven assists.

A win would take Birmingham to 63 points and could firm up a top half finish. Victory for City would move them to 62 and could lift them above their hosts in the top half race.
