Bischof leads Germany U21s to victory in crunch encounter

A crucial win for Tom Bischof and the Germany U21s. Laimer wins head-to-head with Minjae

Two FCB players went head-to-head in Vienna on Tuesday evening. The Austrian national team featuring Konrad Laimer took on South Korea with Minjae Kim. The hosts won 1-0 thanks to a Marcel Sabitzer strike in the 48th minute. Both Bayern players started the game, with Laimer being substituted in the 78th minute and Minjae playing the full 90 minutes.

Stanišić and Croatia lose to Brazil

Josip Stanišić and the Croatian national team were defeated by Brazil in a friendly in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Danilo (45'+2) put the Brazilians ahead in Orlando. Lovro Majer equalised for Croatia in the 84th minute. However, two late goals from Igor Thiago (88') and Gabriel Martinelli (90'+2) gave Brazil a 3-1 win. Stanišić played the whole 90 minutes.

Jackson unused sub in Senegal win

Senegal celebrated a 3-1 friendly win over Gambia in Diamniadio on Tuesday. FCB striker Nicolas Jackson, who scored in the 2-0 win over Peru on Saturday, didn't feature this time round.
