Boca agree verbal deal with Estudiantes for Edwuin Cetré | OneFootball

According to LaNumer12.com.ar, Boca Juniors have reached a verbal agreement with Estudiantes de La Plata to sign Edwuin Cetré.

Marcelo Delgado, the club's sporting director, led the talks. The agreement came as Claudio Úbeda's side prepared to face Vélez Sarsfield in Liniers in the fourth round of the Torneo Apertura 2026.

The deal is for the winger's full registration, covering Estudiantes' 50 percent and the other half of his economic rights held by Independiente Medellín.

Barring complications, Cetré would become Boca's third addition of this window, made possible by an extension granted after Rodrigo Battaglia's injury.

The plan is for the Cali-born player to undergo a medical on Monday or Tuesday, then sign a four-season contract running until the end of 2030.

He would join Ángel Romero and Santiago Ascacíbar, who have already arrived.
