According to Transfermarkt, Boca now boast the most valuable player in the Liga Profesional, as updated valuations place academy midfielder Milton Delgado at the top. The club, knocked out in the Apertura last 16, continue to set the pace in the market.

The site’s valuations reflect expected market value, built on pricing models and community debate, not an automated algorithm or direct transfer fees.

Collectively, Boca’s squad is priced at 95.38 million euros, the second most valuable in Argentina. River lead the way at 102.53 million.

Delgado’s mark rose by 3 million to 10 million, making him the league’s costliest player. He has earned the starting role ahead of Leandro Paredes at 5 million, Santiago Ascacíbar at 5.5 million and Ander Herrera at 400,000. Lionel Scaloni named him in a 55-man preliminary list for the next World Cup, placing him among the 50 most valuable Argentines.

Another breakout is 19-year-old attacking midfielder Tomás Aranda. A regular since January, his sharp movement and speed on the dribble have made him undroppable. He is in the same 55-man preliminary list and is valued at 9 million after only 20 senior games.
