Boca to open at Deportivo Riestra as Sudamericana delay reshapes early schedule

According to LaNumer12.com.ar, the Liga Profesional has finalised Boca’s Torneo Clausura 2026 schedule. They open away at Deportivo Riestra, and an early postponement is required because of Copa Sudamericana duties.

The competition begins on Thursday 23 July, and Boca’s first outing is on Sunday 26 July, when they travel to Bajo Flores.

The Zone A fixture kicks off at 19:30. It will also gauge how the squad have absorbed a demanding pre-season under the new coaching staff.

Because of their continental schedule, the second league match is postponed. Boca will instead visit Newell’s Old Boys at the Coloso Marcelo Bielsa on Sunday two August at 17:00.

They will then host Estudiantes de La Plata at La Bombonera on Wednesday five August at 19:00 to fulfil the rescheduled second-round game.
