Bologna suffered a surprise pre-season friendly defeat to Serie C side Vis Pesaro today, losing 3-2 despite Federico Bernardeschi and Tommaso Pobega goals.
The Rossoblu are gearing up for the start of the new campaign, where they will participate in Serie A, the Europa League, and try to defend their Coppa Italia title.
There were several new players in action during today’s outing, including Martin Vitik from the start.

It took Pobega barely 60 seconds to open the scoring after his transfer from Milan, while former Toronto FC attacking winger Bernardeschi converted a penalty to make it 2-2.
However, Vis Pesaro emerged victorious with goals from Juan Ignacio Molina, Francesco Nicastro and Davide Pio Stabile.
Ciro Immobile, Riccardo Orsolini and transfer-listed Jhon Lucumi remained on the bench.
This is because the team will be back on the field tomorrow morning against Greek opponents Levadeiakos.
