Bookmakers have refreshed their predicted 2026-27 Premier League table as Leeds United prepare for a demanding second season back in the top flight.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Arsenal are 6-4 favourites, ahead of Manchester City at 7-2. The market has Liverpool at 6-1, Manchester United 13-2, Chelsea 11-1 and Tottenham 28-1, implying a top six in that order.
Leeds and Sunderland defied the usual fate for promoted sides in 2025-26. Leeds finished 14th, eight points clear of danger, while Sunderland secured a Europa League place with a brilliant seventh.
Burnley went straight back down with rock-bottom Wolves and, on the final day, West Ham, while fourth-bottom Tottenham survived. The new season will feature promoted Coventry City, Ipswich Town and play-off winners Hull City. Leeds chairman Paraag Marathe has warned how difficult a club’s second season back can be.
Leeds also finished above Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, and were only two points behind Everton and Newcastle United. Forest have since seen Vitor Pereira depart, with outgoing Palace head coach Oliver Glasner set to be appointed his successor.
With seven weeks until kick-off, bookmakers continue to tweak title and relegation odds that underpin their projected table.
