Bookmakers have refreshed their predicted final Premier League table for 2026-27, offering a new view on Leeds United ahead of their second season back.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds and Sunderland both avoided the newly promoted trap in 2025-26, Leeds finishing 14th and eight points clear, while Sunderland took seventh and a Europa League place.

Burnley were the only promoted side to go straight back down, relegated with rock-bottom Wolves and West Ham, whose drop was confirmed on the final day as Tottenham survived. Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City come up. Paraag Marathe has warned that a club’s second season back can be demanding.

Leeds also ended above Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, and were only two points behind Everton and Newcastle United. Vitor Pereira has left Forest, with outgoing Palace head coach Oliver Glasner set to be appointed his successor.

With seven weeks until the new season starts, bookmakers continue to update title and relegation odds. The latest prices have Arsenal at 6-4, Manchester City at 7-2, as short as 9-4 with some firms, Liverpool at 6-1, Manchester United at 13-2, Chelsea at 11-1 and Tottenham Hotspur at 28-1.
