The Carabao Cup semi-finals are now set to reach their conclusions.
A brilliant 2-0 away win by Newcastle United at Arsenal, really lighting up the competition in the first leg of two in that tie.
Goals from Isak and Gordon giving United a deserved win.
Then yet more drama with Tottenham v Liverpool.
The all conquering scousers massive favourites to beat struggling Spurs away from home and open up an easy path to the final, only for things not quite working out as planned…Liverpool failing to score and putting in an insipid performance, with Bergvall scoring on 86 minutes, to give Spurs a massive lift and now potentially realistic chance of getting to Wembley.
