Inter Milan center-back Yann Bisseck addressed the press ahead of Wednesday’s clash against Borussia Dortmund.
Speaking to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, Bisseck urged his teammates to do everything to win trophies this season.
Inter’s chances of securing a second consecutive top-eight finish in the UEFA Champions League have significantly dwindled.
Despite winning their first four league-phase outings, the San Siro giants have lost the following three.
Therefore, they commence the final round of fixtures a point adrift of eighth-placed Chelsea.
With that in mind, anything other than a victory at Signal Iduna Park will condemn the Nerazzurri to the knockout playoffs.
However, the visitors head into proceedings in high spirits after demolishing Serie A newcomers Pisa 6-2 on Friday.
As such, Cristian Chivu has every reason for optimism, even though it promises to be a difficult match.
Inter will be out to break their disappointing run in high-profile fixtures this season.

“We’ll see tomorrow, but it’s always a pleasure to play in Germany because my friends and my family are close by,” Bisseck said.
“A Champions League match is always special, and I’m happy to be playing here tomorrow.
“In the Champions League you always face very, very strong teams. We have to prepare well.
“We know they’re also physically strong, but we’re good too, and if we impose our game, we have a good chance of winning.”
Despite flying high in Serie A, Inter have struggled against top teams in the Champions League.
Asked about Inter’s faltering European campaign, Bisseck replied: “The Champions League is never easy, especially against teams that strong.
“But I think if we look back at those matches, we were always competitive.
“Sometimes there was a bit of bad luck, like the penalty against Liverpool or what happened in Madrid, but that can happen. We just have to give our best.”
Then, he commented on his chances of featuring for Germany at the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
“I hope so. I can control my performances on the pitch, and I’m doing my best, even though I can still improve a lot.
“The path is the right one, and I think I’m always on the national team’s radar. I hope so; it’s a big dream.”
Finally, he insisted that Inter must try to win every title this season.
“We’re a great team. Inter are one of the biggest clubs in the world, so we want, and we have to win trophies.
“And we must do everything possible to make that happen. I think we’re very strong and we have to prove it on the pitch.
