Daniel Svensson is back and available for Borussia Dortmund’s home game against Hamburger SV, Niko Kovač confirmed on Thursday. According to BuLi News, the Swedish left-back is in contention this weekend.

Svensson was forced off during last week’s 2-0 win over Augsburg, but has since returned to full training.

Kovač said the left-back is fit and ready to play on Saturday. He added that, aside from Filippo Mané and Emre Can, he has a full squad.

The head coach is keen to build on the Augsburg victory, noting his side created chances and made good progress.

He said they want to keep building and improving over the next eight games.
