FIFA sanctions mean Bosnia and Herzegovina will not have a full house for Tuesday’s World Cup play-off final against Italy in Zenica.

According to Gazzetta, only 8,800 home supporters will be admitted to the 13,600-capacity Bilino-Polje, with kick-off at 20:45, live on L’Équipe live foot.

The capacity cut follows incidents during the home match against Romania in November 2025, a 3-1 win. FIFA cited improper conduct, discrimination and racism, the use of pyrotechnics, and disruptions during national anthems.

Italy, after missing the past two World Cups, are one victory from a return having beaten Northern Ireland 2-0. Gennaro Gattuso’s side must clinch qualification in this European play-off final.

In the away end, 800 tifosi will travel to back the Nazionale.
