Bournemouth return to the Vitality Stadium tomorrow night, desperate to arrest a four-game winless run.
While their form has dipped, their home record provides a strong foundation for confidence. In fact, the Cherries are unbeaten at home in the league this season, winning four of their six matches. Furthermore, they face an Everton side against whom they have enjoyed significant recent success.
Bournemouth have won nine of their last 11 matches against the Toffees in all competitions. Moreover, they have kept a clean sheet in their last three meetings. Therefore, extending that dominant run will be vital to getting their European push back on track.
Manager Andoni Iraola faces a triple suspension blow following a feisty encounter at Sunderland. First, midfielder Lewis Cook begins a three-match ban after receiving a straight red card. His absence is compounded by the loss of defender Marcos Senesi and midfielder David Brooks. Both picked up their fifth yellow cards of the season, ruling them out of this clash.
The Cherries also remain without Ben Gannon-Doak (hamstring) and Ryan Christie (knee). Unfortunately, both players face spells on the sidelines until after Christmas. However, Iraola’s attacking options receive a boost. Antoine Semenyo and Justin Kluivert have returned to fitness. Both featured in the loss to Sunderland and are expected to be available to start at the Vitality Stadium.
Bournemouth predicted XI: Petrovic; Jimenez, Diakite, Milosavljevic, Truffert; Adams, Scott; Semenyo, Kluivert, Adli; Kroupi
