According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola (22) could be heading for a new deal at club which may be discussed before the end of the year. Despite reported interest and approaches from Chelsea, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich, the Champions League winners consider the young Frenchman as ‘untouchable’. L’Équipe reported yesterday that Barcola is likely to remain at PSG this summer, and that the player wishes to remain with the French champions despite tough competition from Désiré Doué and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who joined from Napoli in a €70m deal in January. Despite excelling at the start of the season, Barcola has found competition more intense in the latter stages of the season – with Les Parisiens completing a treble season by winning Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, and the Champions League. Bayern Munich had enquired about Barcola’s exit terms at the club, after the German champions failed to sign Florian Wirtz, whose €136m transfer to Liverpool has been confirmed last Friday.GFFN | George Boxall
