The head coach of the Lions of Teranga, Pape Thiaw, sharply criticized the organizers of the friendly against Brazil, expressing his deep outrage at the treatment his team received ahead of the match.

Thiaw's outrage after defeat to Brazil

During the post-match press conference, Thiaw stated: "This is a heartfelt outcry, and I'm not saying this because of the defeat."

He continued: "However, I feel the organizers did not respect us. They had announced that, on the eve of the match, neither team would train on the stadium pitch, but Brazil trained on the field and we did not."

The 44-year-old coach added: "It's a lack of respect, and that's something I really wanted to highlight."
