Rui Costa's Benfica are close to signing Brazil international Dinha to strengthen the women's futsal squad. According to Glorioso 1904, the 30-year-old winger is expected to join ahead of next season.
She would arrive after a standout 2025/26 with Nun'Álvares, making 34 official appearances and scoring 16 goals. Those games came across the Liga, Taça de Portugal and Taça da Liga, confirming her status as one of the most influential wingers in the competition.
Before Nun'Álvares, she spent three seasons at Santa Luzia, followed by a stint in Spanish futsal. Consistency and decision-making have marked her career, qualities that prompted Benfica to move.
Although not selected for Brazil's most recent World Cup squad, Dinha has been a regular in the national team. That international experience was another factor valued by the club.
Her addition would reinforce a flank that lost depth last season, particularly after Nati Detoni's departure. If the move is completed, she would operate on the wing under head coach Maria Martins.
