Brazilian club announces Léo Coelho exit with Instagram clips of errors | OneFootball

Amazonas FC, a Brazilian third-division side, announced on Sunday the departure of defender Léo Coelho by posting clips of his mistakes.

The club said in a statement that it thanked Coelho for his dedication on and off the pitch and wished him success in his career. The announcement was accompanied by a montage of defensive errors.

On its Instagram account, Amazonas shared four videos highlighting the defender's involvement in goals conceded. The club were relegated to Brazil's third division this season.

Two days earlier, Coelho had asked a labour court to terminate his contract. He is seeking 8.1 million reais, about 1.4 million euros, citing five months of unpaid wages and other breaches including image-rights payments.

Several team-mates have brought similar cases. Struggling financially, Amazonas face a string of labour disputes and FIFA transfer bans.
