In recent days, Neymar has been once again linked with a return to Barcelona, even after completing his move to Santos.
It appears the Brazilian international is still keen on returning to Catalonia and is banking on his second spell at Santos to go well, so that he can convince the Blaugrana to re-sign him in the summer.
However, a recent report from Mundo Deportivo has reiterated that Barcelona have no plans to re-sign Neymar anytime soon.
Neymar’s profile does not exactly fit the characteristics the club are currently looking for.
Moreover, the club believe that Neymar will not be able to produce the level of performances they are looking for.
This comes on the back of Neymar’s disastrous spell at Al Hilal, where the Brazilian could only appear in a handful of matches. His entire stint in Saudi Arabia was marred by injuries.

Barça also have other active interests in the market. Among them includes Alexander Isak of Newcastle United while Liverpool’s Luis Diaz could also be an option.
Neymar, for his part, is determined to revive his career after a poor spell at Al Hilal, which greatly tainted the perception around him.
The Brazilian international has already started his spell on a positive note, notably racking up three goals and three assists in Campeonato Paulista.
It will be interesting to see whether or not Barcelona change their outlook on Neymar if the forward can continue his top performance in Brazil.
The player is more than determined, not only to perform in Brazil but also to secure a potential return to Barcelona next summer.
