Igor Thiago has been one of the standout goalscorers in the Premier League this season and he now has a new record to go with it.

The Brazilian bagged a brace against Sunderland on Wednesday evening, initially opening the scoring in the first half at the Gtech Community Stadium.
After the break, the visitors had a huge opportunity to level the scoreline from the penalty spot but Caoimhin Kelleher kept out a dreadful Panenka from Enzo Le Fée to keep Brentford in front.
Thiago then made sure Sunderland were left rueing the missed opportunity as he doubled their advantage five minutes later.
Having scored a hat-trick last time out against Everton, Thiago's two goals against Sunderland means he has now struck 16 times in the Premier League this term.
In doing so, he surpasses Roberto Firmino, Gabriel Martinelli and Matheus Cunha to set a new ecord for the most goals scored by a Brazilian player in a single league campaign.

Just how many more can he score before the end of May?
