WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Seagulls this evening.
The 29-year-old Tokyo-born attacker joined Brighton & Hove Albion from Japanese SOMPO WE League club Urawa Reds in summer 2024. Sieke quickly settled into life in Sussex, netting a hat-trick on her debut in a 4-0 win over Everton at Broadfield Stadium. The player has continued to build on her fine start. She helped The Seagulls finish sixth in last season’s Barclays Women’s Super League before building on the good work this term.
Sieke is a key player for Brighton & Hove Albion and the club have therefore moved to retain her services for an extended period.
After extending Sieke’s deal, Brighton & Hove Albion’s women’s and girls’ managing director, Zoe Johnson said “We’re really happy that Kiko has decided to commit her future to Brighton.
“She’s been a key player since joining us in July 2024. She’s consistently shown her qualities both on and off the pitch and we’re excited for what Kiko’s future holds at the club.”
Brighton & Hove Albion are next in action on Sunday when they play host to London City Lionesses in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
