Bruma will miss Benfica's cup trip to Porto despite returning to group training.

According to Glorioso 1904, the Portugal international has not been included in the matchday squad for the decisive tie at Estádio do Dragão, leaving José Mourinho without him.

He is training with his team-mates and is viewed as an important option for the second half of the season, but is not yet ready for a high-intensity meeting with Francesco Farioli's side.

There is better news for Benfica, with António Silva and Enzo Barrenechea recovering from recent fitness problems to bolster Mourinho's options.

Bruma joined from Braga in January 2025 for €six million, made 14 appearances in the run-in before a serious injury, scoring once with two assists.

The clássico kicks off at 20:45 on Wednesday 14 January 2026 at the Dragão, in the Taça de Portugal Generali Tranquilidade quarter-finals, and will be shown on RTP 1.
