What are you most grateful for?

“Family first. My wife, my two kids.”

If you weren’t a footballer what would you be?

“I would be a taxi driver like my father, for sure.”

Funniest teammate?

“Jacob Murphy for sure. Funny ah!”

Biggest interest outside of football?

“Fish. It is my biggest hobby, I love to fish.”

One thing people don’t know about you?

“My grandpa was a fisherman. He teach me. I can’t wait to teach my kids how to fish as well.”

Last series watched?

“My favourite ever series is Vikings but the last one I watched was The Office.”

One skill you wish you had off the pitch?

“To know how to cool. I’m a shambles in cooking.”

Favourite football memory so far?

“Being Newcastle United, I have to say winning the Carabao Cup after 70 years [without a domestic trophy].”

Earliest football memory?

“A good memory I have is that Brazil won the World Cup in 2002. I remember I said to my mum that I wanna do the trim that Ronaldo did for the final, and she said no chance! But was a good memory”
