Bruno Guimarães rules out wearing Flamengo shirt

Bruno Guimarães has dismissed the idea of ever wearing Flamengo’s colours, reaffirming his allegiance to rivals Vasco.

"No, that one is not on", he said, laughing, on Cazé TV.

Although usually a regular under Carlo Ancelotti, the midfielder was not called up by Brazil for this international window against France and Croatia as he recovers from a left hamstring injury.

Ancelotti selected three Flamengo players for the window. Léo Pereira started in the 2-1 defeat to France, Danilo remained on the bench. Alex Sandro was cut from the list after a right thigh injury.

Flamengo now prepare to face Red Bull Bragantino on 02 April after the international break, with kick-off at 21h30 Brasília time at Estádio Cicero de Souza Marques, in the ninth round of the Brasileirão.
