There’s some major transfer news this morning as Bruno Guimaraes to Arsenal looks like it should be completed imminently, while there are other big names to watch.

It’s been a busy summer so far, with huge amounts of cash spent on the likes of Elliot Anderson and Morgan Rogers, while even Tottenham have really pushed the boat out with big-money deals for Sandro Tonali and Matheus Fernandes.

Here’s a look at more major deals we can expect to see going through imminently, if latest reports are to be believed.

Bruno Guimaraes to Arsenal

This has been on the cards for a while now, and all the most reliable sources are saying it’s all but a done deal.

And if you needed any further confirmation, it’s also just in the last few minutes been given Fabrizio Romano’s trademark ‘here we go!’…

Yan Diomande to Real Madrid

This one has been the subject of some debate, as it looked like it was done some time ago, though sources in Germany have disputed this.

Still, Florian Plettenberg, who has covered this story closely, now expects things to really start moving in the next 24 hours or so…

Plettenberg posted on X: “BREAKING | Real Madrid are now going all in to get the Yan Diomande deal over the line. Fresh negotiations with RB Leipzig are underway. Real’s clear objective is for Diomande to undergo his medical as soon as possible and avoid travelling to Leipzig’s training camp in Austria. The signs are positive. Feeling: crucial 24 hours ahead.”

Mohamed Salah to Trabzonspor

Slightly out of the blue, it seems that Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah is closing in on a transfer to Turkish giants Trabzonspor.

BBC Sport claim that Salah will be in Istanbul today, while the club have also confirmed negotiations in an official statement.

If we’re at this stage already, then it’s surely only a matter of time before this is confirmed as a done deal, possibly later today or this time tomorrow.

Pep Chavarria to Chelsea

Another big signing for Chelsea looks to be close, with Romano reporting that Pep Chavarria’s move to Stamford Bridge is now just down to the final details…

Romano posted: “Chelsea are completing details of Pep Chavarría deal, then all done. Agreement almost closed with Rayo Vallecano after new bid exclusively revealed days ago. €19m fixed fee plus add-ons being clarified, then green light to travel.”

Filip Jorgensen to Strasbourg

And finally, another Chelsea deal is one that should see goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen leaving on loan for Strasbourg today.

“Filip Jorgensen, expected to complete his RC Strasbourg loan move in the next 24h if all goes to plan,” the Italian journalist posted, having previously also said that this was on the verge of being completed.
