Bruno Henrique challenges Gabigol’s account and clarifies their Flamengo relationship | OneFootball

Bruno Henrique has addressed Gabigol’s past story about their relationship at Flamengo.

"Gabriel is a friend. I did not understand what he meant by that. 'I do not talk to him?' I speak to Gabi all the time. Only if it was after he left Flamengo, then it is not like before," he said, speaking on Barbacast on Thursday.

In 2021, Gabigol told PodPah he had tested the friendship by not speaking to Bruno for two months. "We went two months without speaking. On the pitch, goals every game. We did not argue. He did not even notice."

At the time, Bruno responded on X, formerly Twitter, writing: "Seriously? I swear I did not know about this one. Hahaha", and he added a long-nose emoji.

Together, Bruno Henrique and Gabigol won 13 trophies with Flamengo, notably two Libertadores, two Brasileirões and two Copas do Brasil.

Gabriel’s contract was not renewed at the end of 2024.
